This Week’s Quickies: Mama Changes
We almost flippantly say “a baby changes everything”. But for mamas, the changes can last a long time. They can affect fundamental things. We realize our hormones get wacky in pregnancy. But, what about after baby comes? Or when your tiny baby is a toddler? And when we jump into stay-at-home motherhood? Or head back to work? When we try to act like nothing’s changed?
Well, when you’re THAT tired, things DO change. We need to accept support. Then tweak diet and sleep. Perhaps, brainstorm energy boosts. We mamas should do all these. And do them with no thoughts of failure or weakness. An interesting, informative (& somewhat surprising) post.
